Who We Are

Shingle RX of the Hill Country ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent roofing contractor and an authorized Shingle RX dealer serving homeowners in Texas and the surrounding area. We use this website to offer roof inspections, repairs, and replacements, to follow up with homeowners who request them, and to accept applications from contractors who wish to join the Shingle RX dealer network. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have.

Information We Collect

We collect information when you request a roof inspection or quote, complete our roof qualification survey, contact us, book an appointment, apply to become a Shingle RX dealer, or reach us through one of our advertisements (including Facebook lead forms) — and automatically as you use the site. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address
  • Your property address and the county or area where your property is located
  • Information about your roof (material, age, and condition) and whether you own the home
  • Photos of your roof that you choose to upload
  • Appointment and inspection details you request or that we schedule with you
  • Records of your consent to be contacted by phone, text, or email, including the date and time it was given
  • If you apply to become a dealer, the business and contact information you provide in the application
  • Marketing attribution data such as the referring website, campaign parameters (UTM tags), and advertising click identifiers (for example, a Facebook click ID) when you arrive from an ad
  • Any message or comment you choose to send
  • Standard web analytics: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referral source

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule a roof inspection, appointment, or follow-up call
  • To contact you by phone, text message, or email about your inquiry, where you have consented to that method of contact
  • To provide the roofing inspections, services, or quotes you request
  • To review and respond to dealer applications
  • To improve our website, marketing, and services
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Your Information

We share your information with service providers who help us operate our business, including our customer relationship management and marketing automation platform, our advertising and analytics platforms (such as Google and Meta), and our email and SMS providers, solely to follow up on and service your inquiry. We require these vendors to keep your information secure and to use it only as we direct. Your mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are excluded from this sharing, as described under "Text Messaging (SMS) and Your Mobile Information" below.

If the roofing service you request is best served by another authorized Shingle RX dealer or roofing contractor in your area, we may share the information you provide with that dealer or contractor so they can contact you and perform the requested inspection or work.

We may also disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, regulatory request) or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Text Messaging (SMS) and Your Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

By providing your mobile number and checking the applicable consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Shingle RX of the Hill Country as described at sign-up. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.

Communications and Consent

By submitting your phone number and agreeing to be contacted, you consent to receive phone calls and text messages from us about your inquiry, which may be made using automated technology. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you may opt out of other marketing communications by contacting us directly.

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses cookies for basic functionality (remembering your survey progress and login state) and may use third-party analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics and the Meta pixel) to understand site usage and measure our advertising. Where these tools support it, we may share a hashed (irreversibly encoded) version of contact details you provide — such as your email address or phone number — with advertising partners so they can measure conversions and show more relevant ads; we never share this information in a readable form. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No internet transmission is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or of targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information. State privacy laws that may apply include the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, among others. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below; we will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and our services are intended for homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Data Retention

We retain lead, inquiry, and application information for as long as needed to respond to and service your request, and afterward for our legitimate business, legal, and record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your information at any time using the contact details below.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent change was made.
